Camavinga is the next in line to miss some games

Real Madrid's agony seems endless. They traveled to Liverpool burdened with numerous issues, only to encounter yet another blow at Anfield—Eduardo Camavinga has been sidelined. Medical tests have revealed that the French midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury, as confirmed by Santiago Bernabéu officials. According to Marca, the injury will keep the 22-year-old out of action for at least three weeks. This means Carlo Ancelotti will be without Camavinga for league matches against Getafe, Bilbao, Girona, and Rayo Vallecano, as well as the crucial Champions League clash against Atalanta on December 10. Camavinga grabbed his hamstring and collapsed early in the second half, raising immediate concerns among the European champions that the injury could be serious—a fear sadly confirmed by medical evaluations.

The former Rennes midfielder will now add his name to Real Madrid’s already lengthy injury list, which includes David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Rodrygo, Vinícius Júnior, and Aurélien Tchouaméni. Fortunately, Lucas Vázquez made his return against Liverpool, and he is expected to fill in at right-back in the coming weeks. This will allow Federico Valverde to operate in his preferred central midfield position. Ancelotti’s remaining midfield options include Luka Modrić, Dani Ceballos, and Jude Bellingham, though Tchouaméni is also expected to return to action in the next few days.
