And we thought it was just an injury: Osimen's son-in-law is asking for money, and the Secret Service is involved too?!

We could be talking about a possible extortion here...
Napoli fans and the football public have been wondering for several days what Victor Osimhen is doing in Lagos. He went to Nigeria with the permission of the club to continue his therapy there. At least, that was what we've been said. However, Osimhen's stay was extended, as was the time of his recovery and, consequently, his return to the pitch.
The Serie A top-goalscorer in the previous season, Italian media speculate, has actually gone to the Nigerian capital to solve family issues. Stories leaked about the debts and criminal problems of his relatives and people who were part of his entourage in Naples until recently. His son-in-law, Osita Osimhen, said two weeks ago that he was afraid for his life because his wife - Victor's sister - asked the footballer if he would pay her beloved the second half of the commission from the transfer from Lille to Napoli, around 400,000 US dollars. He also stated that the Nigerian secret services were allegedly involved in everything?!
Of course, we could be talking about a genuine case of extortion here.
Back in May 2022, Osimhen had an almost identical injury, and it took him a little more than a month to recover. By the way, the Nigerian player got injured in mid-October during the international friendly betwee Nigeria and Portugal.

An additional problem and source of dissatisfaction among the Partenopei is that just when Osimhen is expected to be back in shape, he will be absent again for at least a month, and maybe a month and a half, because of the 2024 AFCON.
