Talented 'Copper Bullet' to become a 'Fox'?

What an African sensation would it be to see a Zambian and a Nigerian lead the attack in the English Premier League! And it might just happen.

A target of many European powerhouses, Zambian forward Patson Daka is a huge wish of Leicester City manager, Brendan Rogers.

The Foxes are considering a move for RB Salzburg striker in the upcoming transfer window.

Brendan Rodgers' attack is in pretty good hands with Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho who had his best season in front of goal for Leicester last season, scoring 19 goals.

But Leicester need someone to replace their legend and talisman - Jamie Vardy - who paired up with the Nigerian for the most of the season.

Vardy's age and growing injury spells rang the alarm at King Power Stadium and speedy Daka, one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe, rates high among the targets under consideration by the winners of the last season's FA Cup.

Although the former England striker still scored 17 goals last season and is showing few signs of slowing down - future needs to be taken care of.

Liverpool and Chelsea and have also been credited with an interest in the player, who is open to a move to England while Salzburg's brotherly Red Bull club from Leipzig are also hot for bringing the youngster in their ranks.

Last season, Daka scored 29 goals in 36 games for the Austrian side and could be available for, in today's market, laughable amount of 24 million USD (2.5 billion KSH).

The huge resale value potential for the 22-year-old in years to come is massive, and Leicester so far have made several buy-and-sale moves that brought quite a number to their treasury.

Daka has already shown he is at least one class above Austrian first tear football and Leicester can offer him a quicker pathway into the first team and highest level of football in Europe.

Alongside Iheanacho, Leicester is a footballing home for other African players such as Thakgalo Leshabela (South Africa), Daniel Amartey (Ghana), Nampalys Mendy (Senegal) and Wilfried Ndidi (Nigeria).
