The midfielder is hoping to return to action in the new season, having been out in the last four years
AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars are reportedly locked in a transfer battle for former Kenya junior international midfielder Teddy Osok, who is seeking a full return to competitive football after a lengthy spell away from the top level.
Osok is understood to be weighing his options as both FKF Premier League sides have expressed strong interest in securing his signature ahead of the new campaign.

Osok says he hasn’t agreed to any terms yet but is confident the new week will have him in new colours for the 2026/27 season.
‘’I cannot say I have committed to anyone yet but I will in the coming few days. I am fit now, and have been for a while as I prepare to get back to what I love doing,’’ says the midfielder.
Sources close to Leopards say they had Osok involved in training sessions before the season ended, although no formal agreement has been reached yet between the two parties.
“Nothing has been finalized at the moment. He had been training with us to maintain fitness and assess his condition, but a decision on his future is still pending,” a source within AFC Leopards said.
Leopards’ plan could be hindered by just a little problem as Ulinzi Stars have now entered the race, with insiders at the military side suggesting the club is keen to add experience and depth to their midfield as they prepare for a demanding season.
“Ulinzi are actively looking at experienced midfield options and Osok is among the players under consideration,” a source familiar with the club’s recruitment plans revealed.
Osok’s career has been marked by both promise and setbacks.
He previously featured for several Kenyan Premier League sides including: Gor Mahia, Sofapaka, Wazito FC, Tusker FC and KCB, establishing himself as a combative and energetic presence in midfield.
The midfielder also had a spell abroad in Zambia with Kitwe United, where he gained valuable experience before returning to Kenya.
His career trajectory, however, has been disrupted by injuries and off-field challenges.
Despite the setbacks, Osok is now working towards rebuilding his career, with both Leopards and Ulinzi viewed as potential platforms for his return to top-flight football.
Further developments are expected in the coming days as the two FKF Premier League giants continue discussions and assess his fitness ahead of a possible signing.
