Ahead of today’s matches, Gor Mahia, who remain inactive this weekend due to four of their players being on national team duty, are still at the top of the league table with 56 points.
Their arch-rivals, AFC Leopards, are second with 49 points, while Kakamega Homeboyz, who beat Posta Rangers, complete the top three with 42 points.
At the other end of the table, Sofapaka are bottom with 15 points and are joined in the relegation zone by APS Bomet and Bidco United with 21 and 22 points respectively.
AFC Leopards vs Kariobangi Sharks
AFC Leopards will have a chance to close the gap on Gor Mahia when they host Kariobangi Sharks at Nyayo National Stadium from 1615 hrs.
Leopards will be targeting a win that would reduce the gap to four points and pile pressure on K’Ogalo.
Ingwe head into the match in good form, having won seven of their last 10 matches, including back-to-back wins against Nairobi United and Tusker FC, keeping clean sheets in both.
However, they will be without several regular players who are out injured, including Humphrey Katasi, Kayci Odhiambo, Emmanuel Lwangu, Maxwell Otieno, Elias Mugane, Julius Masaba, as well as Brian Nyongesa, who has recently resumed training.
Kariobangi Sharks, who are 14th, have had mixed results in their last five matches, winning two, drawing one and losing two, including their last outing against Posta Rangers.
They will once again rely on Humphrey Aroko to boost their tally of 25 points.
Shabana vs Murang'a Seal

Shabana and Murang’a Seal renew their rivalry at Gusii Stadium from 1400 hrs.
Sitting fifth with 40 points, Shabana will be aiming for a win that could lift them to third place.
The Glamour Boys have struggled recently, losing their last three league matches against AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks and Gor Mahia.
Today’s clash will also be their first home match since parting ways with coach Peter Okidi, with assistant Andrea Ongwae taking charge on an interim basis.
Murang’a Seal have also endured a difficult run, winning just once in their last five matches, alongside two draws and two losses.
They will be concerned by their record against Shabana, having won just once in five top-tier meetings, while Shabana have won three, with the other match ending in a 1-1 draw.
Ulinzi Stars vs Sofapaka

The battle against relegation takes center stage as Ulinzi Stars host Sofapaka at Ulinzi Sports Complex from 1500 hrs.
Both sides are locked in a survival fight, with Ulinzi sitting 15th on 22 points, level with Bidco United in the relegation zone, while Sofapaka are bottom.
Ulinzi boosted their survival hopes with a win over Nairobi United in their last match and will look to build on that momentum.
Sofapaka, meanwhile, are yet to win a match in 2026 and are currently on a 17-match winless run.
APS Bomet vs Nairobi United
In the other match of the day, APS Bomet and Nairobi United will resume their abandoned fixture.
The two sides met on Saturday 28 March, but a waterlogged Gusii Stadium forced the match to be abandoned at halftime with the score at 0-0.
The match will resume from the second half at the same venue today from 1000 hrs.
