Leopards’ resurgence under Ambani’s leadership has seen the 12-time champions re-emerge as genuine title contenders in the FKF Premier League.

They currently sit second on 37 points, six behind leaders Gor Mahia, who have played a game more.

Since assuming office, Ambani has overseen structural and competitive progress at the club.

Ingwe have established a fully fledged women’s team, AFC Leopardess, while the men’s side has grown into a formidable unit capable of challenging for top honours.

The revival reflects deliberate planning, from assembling an ambitious technical bench led by head coach and former Kenya international Fred Ambani to ensuring timely payment of players’ salaries and allowances.

The club has also put in place a realistic plan to clear debts inherited from the previous regime.

“He is one of the best chairmen around because I have seen him move from level to level and rank to rank, and now I am working with him in the secretariat.

I know how ambitious he is and how determined he is to ensure Leopards become the most successful club in the country. This guy does not know how to lose because what drives him always is a winning mentality,” said Mulindi.

Mulindi believes the current squad is ready to translate the progress into silverware.

We are doing good as a team, and I can assure you that AFC is back. The consecutive draws you have been seeing previously will now be a thing of the past. We are ready to conquer, watch this space,” the SG roared.

After 19 rounds, Ingwe have registered 10 wins, seven draws and only two losses. the fewest defeats in the top flight so far and has grown credentials as serious title challengers.
