Whereas Leopards concluded their transfer on activities on Friday, 5 September, when the FKF Premier League transfer window was closed, the club might still be active in the transfer outs, with Kelly Madada and Hassan Beja expected to seal deals abroad.
The impending exit of the duo was announced by Ambani after the team's friendly match against New Kings FC of Zanzibar at the Dandora Stadium.
“I should say that there are teams that have expressed interest in Kelly Madada and Hassan Beja,” Ambani told the press.
However, the former Kenyan international announced that the club has already prepared to adjust should the deals, which are expected to be complete soon go through.
“If at all the deals materialise in the next two or three weeks, we might see them leave, and that is why we signed some young players who could replace them,” added Ambani.
Leopards' faithful were ushered into the football mood ahead of the new season in a joyous way after the club secured a 4-2 victory in their match against New Kings.
Beja, who is seemingly in his sunset days with the club, scored a brace while Kennedy Owino and new signing Samwel Ssenyonjo scored a goal apiece to ensure victory momentum ahead of the new season.
The 1998 league champions also used the match to unveil the new members of the team who were recruited in the just-concluded transfer window from various clubs.
They include Tyson Otieno (Kenya Police), Elias Mugane (Fortune Sacco), James Kinyanjui (KCB), Brian Ojok (Soy United) and Ssenyonjo (Express FC, Uganda).
Others are Rami Lasso Coulibally (Chabab Alam Tanger, Morocco), Samwel Ambale Kushindi (Nashville FC), as well as Jamal Obeid and Deng Kang, who were promoted from the youth team.
