Posta Rangers' lead at the helm of the FKFPL log has been reduced to just a point after a rough patch in the last three games

Posta Rangers left back Titus Achesa believes that the team will resume league matches rejuvenated after the FIFA international break, which will see the competition take a brief break.

Signs of fatigue and loss of form were present in the Rangers camp in recent weeks, as the team hasn't won in the last three matches.

Rangers recorded three consecutive draws against Kakamega Homeboyz, KCB, and the AFC Leopards, losing much of their advantage at the top as they are a point above Gor Mahia and Murang'a Seal, who are ranked second and third, respectively.

Injuries have also contributed to the draws, but Achesa believes that the break will give the team time to polish weak areas and further give room for injured players to return.

The league takes a break this weekend to pave the way for international matches, with Harambee Stars scheduled to play Gabon and the Seychelles in the first two 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

"We will be back stronger and better. A number of factors contributed to the successive draws, but we will have time to address them. The break will also relieve fatigue in the playing unit and give injured players time to recover," said the full back.

Achesa, who returned to Posta for another stint after cutting ties with Sofapaka, has managed three assists in the ten matches he has played so far.

He pledged to chip in with some goals when the league resumes from the free-kick opportunities that always present themselves from the left side of the pitch.

"Goals will come after the break. I am working on my technique to score from freekicks," he assured.

Rangers, who have lost a game this far, are set to play returnee Shabana after the break. Shabana beat Nzoia Sugar 2-1 in their last game.
