3K FC set to unveil eight players ahead Division One league kick off

The Embu based club will be hoping to secure promotion to the second tier

Football Kenya Federation Division One outfit 3K FC have set their sights on gaining promotion to the National Super League (NSL).

This will be the second season for the Embu based club in the third tier.

The Moses Mwai-coached side had a tough welcome to the league as inconsistencies saw them finish eighth on the league standings.

However, with the new signings set to be unveiled by the club, there is a feeling among the team's stakeholders that they are ripe to compete and win promotion at the conclusion of the campaign set to commence on Saturday.

Some of the notable names joining the ambitious club are right back Conrad Simani from fourth tier side EWASCO FC, left back Dennis Ouma from Dummen Orange, central defender Peter Oyier from second tier outfit Migori Youth and striker Athuman Mohamed from Coastal bigwigs Mombasa Elites FC.

Others are net buster Austin Ssesongwa from Dunga FC, Mariakani FC duo of Amir Ndume and winger Salim Hashim, attacking midfielder Shadrack Odoyo from Karatina Homeboiz completes a list of new acquisition added to the concrete makers squad.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, the club's media officer Munene Nesh noted that to remain competitive the team retained fifteen of the arsenals that represented them the previous campaign

"We want a strong team ready to fight the veterans in this league therefore we retained most of our squad that will be blended with the new faces to produce one strong assassin team," he offered.

In a bid to be independent, the businessmen powered club are also calling on their fans to turn out in large numbers this campaign to support the team in that they are locating to a safer venue in Moi Stadium, Embu.

The club has capped their ticket prices at Ksh.200 for VIP, regular 100 and Ksh.50 for children in order to drive more Embu people to the stadiums.

"We urge our supporters to come out in big numbers and cheer the boys as they seek National Super League glory with their motivation this is achievable," stated Munene.
