The 21-year old moved to Turkey from Simba Queen's earlier this year
Tanzania’s forward Opa Clement Tukumbuke is currently the leading scorer at the on-going CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship 2022 at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Uganda as the tournament enters the knockout phase.
The Turkey-based striker who plies her trade with Kayseri Kadin FK has scored five goals so far and is looking forward to getting more to help her side lift the trophy.
“I am hungry to score as many goals to help my team win this trophy,” Tukumbuke is quoted saying by CECAFAonline.

The former Simba Queens forward scored once in Twiga Star’s 2-2 draw with Ethiopia, and four goals in the 12-0 evisceration of Zanzibar in their last Group B match.
Ethiopia’s duo of Argash Kalsa Tadesse and skipper Geinore Loza Abera Geinore, Fazila Ikwaput of Uganda, and Burundi’s Sandrine Niyonkuru have each netted four times.
Uganda's Sandra Nabweteme and Shurua Omary Mwanahamisi of Tanzania are on three goals each heading into the semis of the competition and will be hoping to add to their tally.

Hosts Uganda will face off with Ethiopia in the first semi-final match on Thursday before paving way for the other match pitting Tanzania and Burundi, both taking place at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Uganda.
In three matches played so far, Tanzania have been free-scoring, managing to bag 17 goals of the 48 scored in the competition to this stage.
