
WXC Belgrade 24: Mouth-watering prize monies await winners

The World Cross Country Championship goes down at the Friends Park in Begrade on Saturday 30th March
The allure of the generous prize amounts on offer at the World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia will serve as a motivation for Kenyan athletes who are set to compete in various races on Saturday 30 March.
The event, which will be held in Friendship Park, one of the largest parks in Belgrade, will kick off at 1PM EAT with the women's U20 race and the men's U20 race starts at 1:45PM EAT. Then the attention turns to the senior events. At 3:30PM EAT, the senior women's race will take place on a difficult 10 km course, and the senior men's race will follow suit over the same distance.

Athletes in the U20 races will compete over 6 km for women and 8 km for men. In each area, teams can have up to six athletes, and the top four scorers count towards their team's total points. However, individual excellence is also celebrated, with runners competing for individual awards if their team fails to complete the scoring team.
