Kenya is second on the medal standings
World leader Raynold Kipkorir stormed to victory in the men's 1500m to claim gold at the ongoing World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Columbia. with his compatriot Daniel Kimaiyo settling for bronze.
Kipkorir clocked 3:35.83 while Kimaiyo stopped the clock at 3:37.42 to complete the double-podium for Kenya.
Ethiopia's Elias Girma squeezed through for silver in 3:37.24, his fellow countryman Adihana Kasaye settling for a fourth-place finish to complete a 1-2-3-4 for the East Africans in the final.

In the women's 800m, Nelly Chepchirchir narrowly missed out on a medal after finishing fourth.
The 19-year-old clocked 2:01.42, setting her personal best in the process.
Roisin Willis of the USA stormed to victory with a new championship record of 1:59.13, with Switzerland's coming second to claim gold and set a new National U20 record of 1:59.53.

The other American in the race, Juliette Whittaker wrapped up the medal bracket with bronze, stopping the timer on 2:00.18.
Kenya is now second on the medal standings with four medals, two gold and two bronze ahead of Day 4 action.
