National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) will on Wednesday 7 December award three Kenyan women in an Olympics medal relocation ceremony set for the Nairobi National Museums.
NOC-K has been given the privilege by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host an event to award Pamela Jelimo, Janeth Jepkosgei and Hellen Obiri on their London 2012 Olympic Games exploits.
13 years ago Janeth Jepkosgei was front, centre, back of the Beijing Olympics pullout.

Jelimo who finished fourth in London will be awarded a bronze medal for third place in 800 m following the IOC disqualification of Russian Mariya Savinova who won the race.
In the 2012 final, Jelimo headed to the Games as the defending champion, having won the 2008 800m title in Beijing as a teenager, becoming the first Kenyan woman to win an Olympic gold.
She had, however, experienced a decline between 2009 and 2011 with the 2012 season considered her comeback year. She began her outdoor season in 2012 by winning the Doha Diamond league race, right after winning the World Indoor Championships.
At the Olympics, Jelimo placed fourth. On November 9, 2015, the Independent Commission Investigation of the World Anti-Doping Agency asked for a lifetime ban for doping for the Russians Savinova and Ekaterina Poistogova who won bronze.
In February 2017, it was announced that Savinova was stripped of her gold medal, meaning Caster Semenya who placed second was declared champion. Poistogova was suspended in 2017 for two years, backdated to October 2014, but her London results were not affected.
Meanwhile, former world champion and 2008 silver medalist Janeth Jepkosgei will also be receiving an upgrade, a Diploma Certificate for her sixth Place in the race.
Additionally, Obiri, will also be awarded a Diploma Certificate for her eighth place finish during her first Olympic Games in London where she competed in the 1500m, a race that has been dubbed one of the dirtiest Olympics races. This is after four athletes in this category were disqualified for doping.
