Kenya's 2017 World Cross Country bronze medalist Lilian Kasait handed 10 months doping ban by AIU for using Letrozole, a prohibited substance
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), in a detailed statement in their portal, has revealed that Kasait tested positive in an out of competition test.
The statement also confirms the athlete admitted to use of the banned substance and cooperated with AIU during the entire process after she was notified. Consequently, the ban has been backdated and will therefore serve just five months.
