KCB RFC will enjoy home advantage in the Kenya Cup Third Place Playoffs.

The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has confirmed three changes in the Kenya Cup final itinerary with the Third Place Playoffs being rescheduled to Nairobi while the Women's final has been pushed to a later date.

The Third Place Playoffs pitting reigning Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC and an enterprising Strathmore Leos side has been rescheduled to the Den at Ruaraka.

The clash was initially slated for Pitch B at the Bull Ring Arena in Kakamega after both sides lost the semi-finals last Saturday.

The Women’s Kenya Cup final that is in its inaugural season has been pushed to Saturday 19 March with Yamanishi Impala Saracens and Mwamba RFC set to battle it out for the title.

The encounter was initially meant to curtain raise the Men’s Kenya Cup final that will see 2016 Champions Kabras Sugar RFC take on Menengai Oilers who are contesting for their maiden final.

The Championship clash between Western Bulls and Kisumu RFC will now curtain raise the Men’s Kenya Cup final in Kakamega in a 1300 EAT kick-off.

The final remains unchanged with the clash set to kick off at 1500 EAT at the Bull Ring Arena.
