Following the performances, Kisia was left delighted with the display from his team as he revealed their lofty ambitions for the upcoming circuit.
“Our target is to give the best performance that Strathmore has ever given on the circuit. Back in 2009, we won the National Series Circuit and that is what we want to replicate this year. It is achievable with the work we continue to put in,” the coach told Raga House.
Additionally, Kisia hailed the benefit of staring the journey early in terms of preparations whch will be key in their ambitious quest.
“Having Embu 7s as a pre-tournament into the circuit is very important. It helps in building momentum and makes it easy for the coach to determine the appropriate team to select for the games in terms of who is a starter and who is a finisher,” he added.
