Damian McGrath’s side were paired against series leaders and defending champions Australia, 2021 series champions South Africa and Great Britain.

Shujaa will open their Dubai 7s tournament against the reigning series champions in a clash that is slated for 10.56 AM (EAT) as they hope to snap up their four game losing streak against the Aussies.

Up next for Shujaa will be fellow Africans, South Africa in a clash that will kick off at 2.20 PM (EAT) in a match that Kenya has struggled in recent times.

Kenya will end Day 1 with a clash against Great Britain at 7.18 PM (EAT) with the latter opting to merge Wales, England and Scotland due the upcoming Olympic Games in 2024.

The top four finishers in the 2022-2023 season sealing a direct ticket to the Olympic Games which Great Britain usually participated in unison.

Shujaa are currently out of form having lost all their games in the opening leg of the series, the Hong Kong 7s and will be seeking redemption in Dubai.
