KCB Rugby vs Nondescripts – KCB Sports Club
KCB Rugby, fresh from a commanding 45-3 victory over Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad, welcome Nondescripts RFC in what promises to be a mouth-watering encounter at Ruaraka.
The Bankers are unbeaten this season and currently sit third on the standings with 29 points, just one shy of log leaders Kabras RFC. They will be keen to maintain their momentum against a Nondies side that has historically struggled against them.
The last time Nondescripts defeated KCB in the Kenya Cup was decades ago, when current KCB head coach Andrew Amonde was still an active player.
“Nondies are coming to the den, and we are very prepared. It’s not going to be an easy match; it will be a tough one. I know the boys are ready. The last time they beat us was when I was still playing, so it has been quite a long time. They will study our past matches and come well prepared, so it’s up to us to prepare even better,” Amonde told Mozzart Sport.
Kabras Sugar vs Kenya Harlequin – ASK Showground, Kakamega
League leaders Kabras RFC will host Kenya Harlequin at the ASK Showground in Kakamega as they look to extend their impressive run. The Sugarmen are coming off a dominant 55-8 win over Nakuru RFC, and another victory would further solidify their position at the summit.
Quins, meanwhile, have shown steady improvement despite enduring a difficult season. Although they are yet to register a win, they have put in competitive performances against top sides, losing 24-12 to KCB and narrowly falling 22-17 to Menengai Oilers.
The Patrice Agunda-coached side currently sits seventh on the log with 10 points and will be hoping to cap off their run against the top three with another spirited display.
Menengai Oilers vs KU Blak Blad – ASK Showground, Nakuru
In Nakuru, Menengai Oilers will face KU Blak Blad at the ASK Showground. The Oilers, traditionally strong at home, will be aiming to secure maximum points following their narrow 22-17 win over Quins.
Blak Blad have previously defeated the Oilers and will be hoping to repeat that feat. However, they will need to improve their first-half performances, having struggled to settle early in recent matches — a factor that proved costly against KCB last weekend, despite restricting the Bankers to a single try in the second half.
Daystar Falcons vs Nakuru RFC – Daystar University
Daystar Falcons and Nakuru RFC head into their clash looking to bounce back from disappointing outings. Both sides have one point so far this season and currently occupy ninth and tenth positions respectively.
The Falcons narrowly lost 34-31 to Strathmore Leos last weekend and have managed just one win this season, against Impala RFC. They will be eager to secure a second victory as they aim to steer clear of relegation.
Nakuru RFC, on the other hand, travel to Nairobi with a solitary win over Nondescripts. Following a heavy loss to Kabras, they will be keen to right their wrongs and pick up valuable points on the road.
MMUST RFC vs Kisumu RFC – MMUST Grounds
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) RFC will host fellow strugglers Kisumu RFC in a bottom-of-the-table clash at the MMUST Grounds.
Kisumu sit 11th on the 12-team log with six points, while MMUST remain rooted at the bottom with four. With both sides fighting for survival, bragging rights and crucial league points will be firmly on the line.

Impala RFC vs Strathmore Leos – Impala Grounds
The round concludes at the Impala Grounds where Impala RFC take on Strathmore Leos in another intriguing encounter. Impala head into the fixture with just one win, while the Leos have picked up three victories so far this season.
Both sides will be eager to put on a strong performance as they chase points and local bragging rights.
