
Paarwater returns to Kenya Simbas technical bench

South Africa coach Jerome Paarwater has rejoined the Kenya Men’s Fifteens National Team, The Simbas for a second stint.
Paarwater, who was the Simbas Head Coach between 2013 and 2017 will be assisted by Carlos Katywa who was plucked from the Kabras technical bench and seasoned KCB coach Curtis Olago.
Other members of the Simbas management staff include Richard Ochieng, Steve Mankone and James Ondiege.
Paarwater replaces Paul Odera, who threw in the towel in November last year after Kenya failed to qualify for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The gaffer, nearly led the Kenya Simbas to qualifying for the 2015 Rugby World Cup but narrowly lost to Namibia.
