Impala host KCB RFC on Saturday in a match that will determine who will play in the Enterprise Cup final.

Impala Saracens look to be making up for their Kenya Cup relegation in the Enterprise Cup but head coach Oscar Osir warned of disappointment if they do not pull up their socks.

The 10-time Kenya Cup champions booked a slot in the last four of the Enterprise Cup following a 20-16 win over Top Fry Nakuru after beating last season’s Kenya Cup finalists Menengai Oilers in the Round of 16.

Osir admitted that he has his work cut out when they take on KCB RFC on Saturday after scrapping through victory against Nakuru.

“There is a lot of work for us to do for sure, we have a lot of respect for Nakuru but certainly moving on to the next one which will test us.

No disrespect for Nakuru but if we play like this against the next opponents chances are the results will be very difficult to take,” said Osir.

Impala will have to dig deep to pull a massive upset with KCB going all out in the Enterprise Cup after a shock exit in the Kenya Cup semis against Menengai Oilers.

Osir however commended his charges' resilience after emerging victorious against Nakuru and also lauded his defense for holding on to the lead.

“We had good resilience, not so sure about some of the calls but that is how the sport goes, I think we need to get off the line a bit more, a couple of our players were on their heels which allowed momentum off carries.

The realization that this was a cup tie helped if we lost we out and by the time we were up by four points, if they scored a try then we were in trouble but the defense prevailed,” added Osir.
