Wanyore have struggled against Quins when playing away in recent seasons.
Top Fry Nakuru RFC eased their relegation woes following a 13-18 win over Kenya Harlequin with head coach Felix Oloo elated with their first win at the RFUEA Grounds in years.
Nakuru had to come from behind after going down a try in the opening five minutes of the encounter and withered a late Quins storm on to hold on to the victory.
There’s no place like home.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Oloo opened up on the importance of the victory that came after years of wait and was delighted with the team bouncing back to victory after their loss to MMUST.
“The win is a good motivation for the boys as you know our results have not been consistent enough but getting a win here is really good I think the last time we won here was five years ago.
The loss to MMUST was devastating, we had to see how to deal with my boys mentally as quickly as possible and the boys rose up to the occasion and that is what we saw yesterday,” said Oloo.
Nakuru next face a fiendish clash in the final game of the season which happens to be the Nakuru derby against high flying Menengai Oilers.

Oloo added that he was impressed with his team’s discipline as they had no one sent to the sin bin and also heaped praise on their impressive set pieces.
“This was the first game that we did not have our player being shown a yellow card which shows that our discipline has really improved.
Our set-pieces were 90% accurate and that will be a big motivation to the players as we head into our final game of the season,” added Oloo.
