Nondies have gathered some steam in the Kenya Cup after beating Blakblad on Saturday
Record Kenya Cup champions Nondescripts picked up their maiden back to back win of the season after a 34-13 dominant win over Blakbald with head coach Willis Fox Ojal pinpointing areas of improvement.
Nondies picked up their first win of the season a week ago when they thumped Kenya Harlequin 18-5 after a torrid start to the season that saw them lose to KCB and Strathmore Leos.

Ahead of their next clash against Mwamba RFC, Fox is looking to put an extra shift in defence and set pieces with kicks also part of the improvement list.
“Heading into the next game we want to tick that box of improving in the defence and our set-pieces because we realised, defensively after set pieces we struggled a bit but those are some of the things we have to improve heading into our next game,”
“We played according to what we wanted to do in terms of the kicks, there is always room for improvement, our kicks would have been better and if it is compared to last week, I think we are on the right trajectory,” said Fox.
Nondies who are one of the Kenya Cup teams that have played few games owing to their decision to sit out of the tournament, a decision which was later rescinded and played their first game in June.
Fox refused to use the few games under his side’s belt and rustiness to their poor form at the start of their campaign and lauded his defence that was put under immense pressure during some spells of the game.

“I don’t think the fact that we had not played earlier should be an excuse, once you wear the jersey it’s up to you to perform but obviously the more you play the better you become and things are starting to come together now,”
“I think our defence came to the party today, our defense worked a bit harder, not too happy with the defence but we did much better because we would have conceded more if our defence had let go,” added Fox.
