Kenya Cup defending champions Kabras RFC's head coach Carlos Kyatwa has refused to be carried away by their impressive weekend's victory over Kisumu RFC.
The Millers heaped a 72-10 misery on hapless Kisumu RFC, while their Eric Shirley Shield (ESS) team whitewashed Kisumu II 78-0 in the matches played at the ASK Kakamega Showground on Saturday 2 December.

Derrick Ashiundu made a remarkable comeback from injury to score four out of 12 tries that led the Sugarmen to the triumph.
He was making his first appearance for the 15s side since the 2021/22 Kenya Cup final victory over Menengai Oilers and was sidelined for the whole of 2022/23 due to an ankle injury.
Hooker Teddy Akala, Ntabeni Dukisa, youngster Matthias Osimbo, speedster Dan Angwech, and George Nyambua all added more points for Kabras RFC.
Jone Kubu was sure with the conversions.
Meditating on the win, coach Kyatwa was critical of the team's performance despite the huge win, noting that they did not execute in some areas as expected.
"A lot of lessons learned. There is quite a lot of work for us. The scoreboard does not reflect the chances that we missed especially in the first half. They did not play to the structure," Kyatwa lamented.
Kyatwa, who doubles up as the Kenya Simbas assistant coach, also warned against looking down on teams considered smaller, insisting that each team brought a unique challenge to the pitch.
"The issue of undermining other teams is something that we will look into. We will analyze what we need to work on. Handling errors were high, and structures were lost, but we will improve," he disclosed.
The millers produced 15 of their players to the national team, and they will be banking on their wealth of experience to propel them to greatness.
They travel to Nairobi, Ngong Racecourse to lock horns with Nondies RFC, who were handed a rude shock to the top tier after suffering a 45-8 loss to KCB Rugby in their Kenya Cup opener.
