Kenya finished London 7s without tasting a win as they lost five matches on the spin.
When it rains it pours for Shujaa as they completed London 7s without winning a single game following the 14-5 loss to Japan which exacerbated their relegation worries in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
Damian McGrath's men who are yet to score an opening try in the tournament ensured the trend continued as Timo Fiti Sufia landed Japan's first try that was converted by Yoshihiro Noguchi to hand them a 7-0 lead inside the opening two minutes.
No team in the world of Sevens wished to be in the same group with this #Shujaa team. #Kenya7s are now going the Manchester United way, History RFC.

Japan picked up from where they left from in the second half as Yoshihiro Noguchi raced almost half the length of the pitch to touch down despite Alvin 'Buffalo' Otieno trying to kick the ball before it touch the ground but Noguchi reaction was lightning quick.
One of the few shining lights in the squad in an otherwise dark season for Shujaa Achadius Khwesa turned on the style as he went on a lung bursting run to touch down and hand Kenya a glimmer of hope of turning things around.

The result means that Shujaa have finished last in the London 7s which leaves the hovering perilously close to relegation places.
