16 teams will be battling for honours in the two day tournament.
Good morning from the RFUEA Grounds where the National 7s Circuit is making its comeback into the country after a two year hiatus.
Mozzart Sport will be providing you with all the latest happenings as events unfold in the season opening outing.
Hosts Mwamba RFC will be hoping to defend the title they won when the tourney was last held in 2019.
And the tournament gets underway with 2021/2022 Kenya Cup and 2022 Enterprise Cup champions Kabras Sugar taking on Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in the opening game.

Game 2: KCB 33-14 Western Bulls
Defending champions KCB get their campaign off to a good start as they thrash Western Bulls

The second round of action gets underway with teams looking to build on their first outing in 7s after two years.
All 16 teams have now played their opening group games. Round 2 begins after a thirty minute break

After a second successive defeat, Kabras Sugar bow out of main cup contention. KCB and MMUST will go through after winning their opening two games.

Menengai Oilers 19-5 Blak Blad
Gibson Weru's Oilers confirm their place in the main cup quarter final after two wins from two.
Homeboyz 45-0 Kenya Harlequin
2013 and 2018 Kabeberi 7s champions Homeboyz joined Oilers as the two teams from Pool C advancing to the quarter finals after two straight wins. Harlequins are yet to taste victory under new head coach Paul Murunga.
Daystar Falcons 12 -5 Impala Saracens
TopFry Nakury 19-12 Nothern Suburbs
Nakuru have also advanced to the quarters after this second win.
Round 2 action now comes to a close with four teams already saving their slots for main cup contention on Sunday. Four more teams to go.

Kabras Sugar 24-17 Western Bulls
The sugarmillers sweat it out but they finally get their first win of the tournament which will not be enough though. They finished in 3rd play and drop to the playoff games on Sunday.
KCB 38-7 MMUST
The Bankers maintain a spotless streak in matchday 1 as they pick 3/3 wins. Time to rest and brace up for the main cup tomorrow

A blistering Leos become the fifth side to join the fight for the main cup after their thrashing win.
Mwamba 10-7 Nondies
The hosts and defending champions were made to work hard for their second win on day one but they managed to just hang onto their slender lead. They keep alive their hopes of retaining their trophy as they advance to the quarter finals..

Quins finally get a taste of victory in their narrow vwin over the Kenyatta University side.
Homeboyz 15-7 Menengai Oilers
Two time Kabeberi 7s champions Homeboyz stay perfect on day one after getting wins in all their three pool matches.
Nothern Suburbs 12-21 Daystar Falcons
Newly promoted Championship side Daystar Falcons pulled the biggest surprise of the day as they become the only non Kenya Cup side to book their place in the main cup quarters. Although they are level on points with Impala, they qualify courtesy of the head to head record.
