The Bankers are unbeaten this season while MMUST suffered their fourth consecutive loss.

KCB RFC exerted their dominance over a spirited Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology after compounding them to a 41-10 whitewash in a game staged at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka.

The game was off to a frenetic start with MMUST looking reinvigorated and matching KCB's play but the reigning champions were let down back lack of patience as the ceded possession in the five meter line a couple of time.

The cream finally rose to the top when Jacob Ojee dotted down from a well worked try with Samuel Asati offloading the final pass as Dawrin Mukidza added the extras for a 7-0 lead.

MMUST conceded a second try eight minutes later when Bob Muhati bounced off a number of tackles to plough his was through to the whitewash with Mukidza again adding the extras for a 14-0 advantage.

KCB were relentless in game as they added a third try that was squeezed into the corner by Michael Kimwele after Edwin Otieno kept the well worked move rolling.

The Bankers did not take their foot off the gas in the first half as they ended the opening stanza with a try when Wilfred Waswa touched down from a rampaging maul that was mounted after a textbook line out from KCB to head into the break with a 24 -0 lead.

KCB picked up from where they left from as they took less than a minute to register another try with that lethal combination of Edwin Otieno and Bob Muhati resulting in another try with the latter touching down for a double in the game.

Otieno was however sent to the sin bin for a wrestling tackle but KCB managed the game well despite being a man down as they failed to concede any points.

Despite a large spell of barreness in the game, KCB continued to press their foot on the gas with George Asin getting his name on the try scorers list after mounting pressure on the MMUST defense and camping on the five meter line.

MMUST prevented a nil scoreline when Eric Cantona kicked a penalty that his former Manchester United midfielder would be proud of to put three points on the board for the Varsity side.

KCB added their fifth try through Darwin Mukidza who went on to convert his try for a 41-3 lead with MMUST looking to be running on fumes in the final minutes of the game.

MMUST however grabbed their first try of the game in injury time when Eric Cantona profited on a slip from Peter Waitere to touch down and there was time left for him to convert the try for a 41-10 loss.
