Kenya Simbas assistant coaches Carlos Kyatwa and Curtis Aluoch have announced the squad set to feature in the upcoming Victoria Cup set to kick off on Wednesday 1 November in Kampala, Uganda.
Peter Waitere of KCB, the Kabras RFC duo of Dan Angwech and Emmanuel Otieno, and Kenya Harlequins’ Paul Mutsami have all made the cut.
In the absence of head coach Jerome Paarwater who is currently in Dubai with the Kenya Lionesses, his assistants call the shots in Kampala.
The team will be captained by George Nyambua who led them to several victories including the Currie Cup match against Zimbabwe where Simbas roared 48-7 past the Zimbabweans.

Eugene Sifuna, David Bunduki, and Shem Okola are the three non-traveling reserves.
The team will travel to Kampala on Sunday 29 October and arrive on Monday 30 October just in time for their match against Zambia at the Kyadondo Stadium on 1 November.
They will return to action on 5 November against rivals Uganda at the King’s Park Arena. This match will serve as the first leg of the Elgon Cup.
Following that, the Simbas will return to the country for the Elgon Cup return leg penciled for 11 November in Kisumu.
The Elgon Cup will be curtain raised with several matches; the final of the ongoing Lake Victoria 15s pre-season tournament, and a match pitting Kenya Lionesses and the Uganda national ladies team; Lady Cranes.
