Two games from both the universities and the women’s category will precede the semifinal clashes.

Defending champions of the Impala Floodlit tournament KCB RFC will continue with their quest of winning the preseason tourney for a fourth time in a row when they face Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad in the semifinal clashes set to be played Saturday 5 November 2022 at the Impala Grounds.

The Curtis Olago coached side managed to book their place in the last four after beating Kenya Harlequin 14-10 in the postponed quarterfinal match pushed to Wednesday.

Blak Blad on the other hand will need to fork out another faultless performance in order to make the final after their stunning 20-19 victory over Strathmore Leos in the quarter final that secured their passage to the semis of the tournament.

In the second semifinal, 2021/2022 Kenya Cup runners up Menenagai Oilers will face Nondies with both teams seeking to book the ticket to the final.

Nondescripts stopped hosts Impala Saracens 33-7 in the other delayed quarter-final match on Wednesday to set up a semi-final clash against the Gibson Weru coached side.

Oilers, who reached the final when the event was last played in 2019, defeated rivals Nakuru RFC 26-13 to set up the tie.

Two games from both the universities category and the women’s category will precede the semifinal clashes set for Saturday.
