Enterprise, Mwamba Cup semi-final fixtures released

The Enterprise Cup and Mwamba Cup tournaments will enter the semi-final stage on Saturday 8 April in different venues.

Kabras RFC vs Menengai Oilers

Fans will witness a repeat of the Rai Derby the Kakamega ASK Showground from 3pm.

To reach the final stage, Kabras RFC were handed a walkover (28-0) by Kenya Harlequins who did not honor the match due to the incapacitation of players. The Quins had sent most of their players for Simbas training and their key players had sustained injuries from the tough season.

Menengai Oilers on the other hand won 53-5 over Nondies RFC at the Nakuru Showground.

This match promises to be entertaining. The two sides have been meeting for a while now and Kabras RFC have emerged winners in all the meetings. Kenya Cup defending champions Kabras RFC knocked Menengai Oilers out of Kenya Cup contention and the Oilers will be keen to revenge.

Kabras RFC on the other hand have been in fine form this year and will be seeking to extend the run. The Sugarmen will miss the services of key players like Brian Tanga who is out for Singapore 7s.

KCB Rugby vs Impala Saracens

KCB Rugby reached this stage after Blak Blad handed them a walkover while Impala advanced to the semis following their spot in the last four with a walkover over Kisumu RFC.

The last time these two sides met in the longer version of the game was during the 2022 Impala Floodlit tournament where KCB RFC hit Impala RFC 20-7. This time, the action heads to the KCB Sports Club.

Both sides come to this match injured. The Lions failed to claim the 2022/23 Kenya Cup title following a 19-9 loss to Kabras RFC at the finals while the Saracens ended their poor season in fifth position on the Championship level.

KCB RFC will be keen to cause havoc at home while Impala are seeking to bounce back to winning ways.

Singapore7s: Shujaa playing times announced

Kenya Harlequins II will face Blak Blad II at the RFUEA Grounds from 3 pm as Strathmore Leos II welcome KCB RFC II at the Madaraka Grounds for the Mwamba Cup semis.
