KCB rallies back at Quins
The match was fast-paced, intense and brutally physical as all the teams brought their A-game on board.
Quins, who are under the tutelage of former Kenya 7s tactician Paul Murunga, were leading 15-0 in the opening minutes of the game, but they failed to hold on to the lead, going down to the hungry Lions.
It was Amon Wamalwa who opened the scoresheets with a penalty in the fourth minute.
The three-pointer set the stage for Albert Alela to go over with the first try of the match for Quins. The conversion attempt was off. Scores 7-0.

Following that, Paul Mutsami added his name to the scoreboard with another five pointer. Wamalwa was sure with the conversion to see the scores climb to 15-0 in the 18th minute.
Quins would then be clumsy in their play, and the Bankers did not hesitate to capitalize on that to score consecutive tries.
Michael Wamalwa sent the crowd to cheers with a try that was converted by Elvis Namusasi.
Experienced player Darwin Mukidza then entered the scoresheet with another five pointer. Namusasi added the extras.
By now, coach Murunga was up on his feet, giving instructions to his charges who were clearly succumbing to the pressure from the hosts.
Wiseman Aganya was sent to the naughty chair in the closing minutes of the first half, but the Bankers failed to capitalize on the numerical advantage.
HT scores 17-15.
KCB came in breathing fire in the final half, scoring 15 more points that further downed the Quins.
From the bench, Austin Sikutwa scored a brace for the Bankers. Evin Asena managed Quins' only points in the final half through a well drilled penalty to see the full time scores at 32-18, leading to cheers of joy from the hundreds of KCB fans present.
Austin Sikutwa extends the Bankers lead with a corner post try. Elvis Namusasi adds the extras.
