The Bankers just managed to win the game by a classic two points
KCB RFC managed to book their place in the final match of the 2022 Enterprise Cup after overcoming a spirited Resolution Impala Saracens in an epic showdown staged on Saturday afternoon.
In the semifinal encounter played at the Impala Grounds, the Curtis Olago coached side were made to dig in for their dogged two point 18-20 victory that secured them a shot at the title in the finale.
Being a knockout contest that would see the winner have a shot at silverware in the 2021/2022 15s season, Oscar Osir's Impala brought their A-game to the tie but unfortunately could not nick the game against the powerhouse as KCB just managed to close out the victory in a nervy final ten minutes that saw ill discipline get them reduced to thirteen men after two yellow cards to Max Kangeri and stalwart Andrew Amonde.
KCB hold on to secure their #EnterpriseCup Final spot.

It was quite a slow start to the game, with both defenses trying to prove a point to each other as to who would slip first.
By the end of the first half, both set of defenses proved upto to the task as the two teams went into the breather with the scores levelled at 6-6, both sides managing to just get on the scoreboard through the route offered from the boot.
Smith Muhoya, who started as the flyhalf for KCB, converted two out of three of his penalties as a sure Quinto Ongo responded in similar fashion to equalize for his side on the both instances they fell behind.
The closely fought tie proved to be a contest that could swing in any direction as proceedings resumed in the second half.
After camping deep in Impala's territory, KCB saw their try seeking attempts bear fruit as Steve Wamai exploited a gap in the Impala defense before landing an easy try that was converted by Muhoya to open up a seven point lead for the Bankers (6-13).
That didn't stop Impala from grinding. In any case, it just made them work extra hard and they got their response minutes later as Bill Ariga made a brilliant carry before bulldozing his way over the tryline, Ongo staying perfect from the boot as he converted to once again restore parity in the game.
Another phase of sustained pressure saw KCB land a second try courtesy of Elphas Odunga, this time converted by substitute Shaban Ahmed who restored the seven point lead.
Despite Paul Mutsami just managing to land another try for Impala following a powerful rolling maul, Tony Odhiambo missed his conversion after Ongo stepped out, a result that ended up proving the point of difference as KCB won the game by two points to advance to the finale where they will face winners between Kabras Sugar and Homeboyz.
