Masaku 7s postponed
Meanwhile, the traditional Masaku 7s which was set to make a comeback after seven years in the cold has been postponed. Masaku 7s was scheduled for the same dates as Embu 7s; June 10 and 11 at the Machakos Golf Club, but it has been postponed to a later date.
Since its launch in 2012, the event has attracted massive crowds, causing traffic along Mombasa Road. This would be the second event to be held in Machakos this year after the Benjamin Ayimba tournament which was held over the Easter holiday.
