This victory elevates Kabras RFC to the top of the National 7s Circuit standings
Kabras RFC clinched their maiden Dala 7s title with a commanding 24-5 win over Menengai Oilers at Mamboleo Grounds on Sunday.
This victory elevates Kabras RFC to the top of the National 7s Circuit standings, adding to their earlier triumph at the Christie 7s this season.
The win holds special significance for Kabras RFC, who were runners-up in last year’s Dala 7s final against KCB Rugby.

Their success also echoes their 2017 National 7s Circuit title, which they claimed at the same venue.
Despite the defeat, Menengai Oilers have shown resilience, reaching the final for the third time after previous appearances in 2019 and 2022.
However, they faced an early setback in the final when Timothy Okwemba was stretchered off due to an injury.
The Sugarmen capitalized on this, with Jackson Siketa scoring the first try after a line-out turnover.
Siketa followed it up with a second try from a well-timed offload, further extending their lead.
William Mwanji added another try in the left corner, and despite a late surge from the Oilers, Kabras' defense remained unbreakable.
In the second half, the Oilers managed a consolation try, but Siketa completed his hat trick with another try and a successful conversion, sealing the victory for Kabras.
Elsewhere, Kenya Harlequin secured third place with a narrow 22-19 win over MMUST, while KCB Rugby finished fifth after a dominant 31-0 win over Nondies.
The National 7s Circuit continues next weekend with the Kabeberi 7s at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
