Christie 7s: Crunch action expected in Division II, ladies’ pools

The organizers of the 2024 Christie 7s have announced the Division II and ladies’ pools for the competition slated for July 27 to 28 at the Impala Grounds in Nairobi. This time around, in Division II, two decades of teams have been marked present.

The Division II matches will be played at the Impala ground and will see the competition being played in five pools.

In pool A, the Western Bulls will battle for supremacy against Masaku rugby, Meru RFC and Kiambu rugby.

In pool B, JKUAT Cougars will clash shoulders against KCA University, Makueni RFC and Dagoretti Bulldogs.

Mombasa RFC will seek to prove dominance in pool C against the AP Warriors, Stallion Rugby and the Stormers.

Zetech University will fight to prove their prowess against the Northern Suburbs, USIU-A and the NYS Spades in pool D.

Pool E will see the Mean Machine extending their force against Kabarak University, MKU Nairobi and the Stingers.

The ladies’ category will be even more competitive.

In Pool A, newly formed Kenya Harlequin FC will lock horns with Impala RFC, NYS Ladies, and Northern Suburbs. The second pool sees 2023/24 Women’s Kenya Cup winners Mwamba RFC clash with Western Spears, Shamberere Institute, and Meru Ladies in the mouth watering affair.
