Reading Time: 2min | Sat. 13.11.21. | 11:00
The winners of the semis will head to the final and will also book a date in the 2021/22 KRU Championship season where they are set to replace Kisii RFC and Mombasa RFC.
Shamas Foundation, Daystar Falcons, Kitale RFC and Kabarak University will be hoping to go over the penultimate semifinal leg that awaits them on Saturday afternoon if they are to make the switch from the third rugby tier in the country to the Kenya Rugby Union championship which is the second tier of Kenyan club rugby.
After advancing from the last eight, all four teams know that they only need one more win to advance to the final and secure their place to the KRU championship where two slots are up for grabs.
With the semifinal pairing in the KRU Nationwide league now complete, Shamas Rugby Foundation will face off with Daystar Falcons while Kitale will host Kabarak University.

Shamas reached the last four with a 22-0 win over Maseno University Saints while Daystar Falcons benefited from a 28-0 walkover after their clash with hosts CITAM Kisumu failed to take place due to the hosts’ failure to provide a secure playing arena.
Kitale defeated JKUAT Cougars 27-8 to set up a date with Kabarak who were 38-29 winners over Technical University of Mombasa.
The semifinals are set for 13 November 2021. The two victorious semifinalists will gain promotion to the second tier KRU Championship.
