Even as #KenyaCup takes a break,we kick off the #EnterpriseCup and #MwambaCup this weekend with the round of 16 games.
Head out and support your teams over the weekend 😁😁 pic.twitter.com/IDRLoVlvs4
Kabras vs Kisumu RFC
The Sugarmen who have won the Enterprise Cup title three consecutive times will welcome crosstown neighbors Kisumu RFC. The lakeside team has been in miserable form, losing all their opening Kenya Cup matches. Their most recent score was a 137-7 defeat to Kabras RFC and they will be looking to avenge.
However, going past the motivated Sugarmen will not be a walk in the park. The Carlos Kyatwa-coached side is determined to win all their matches and secure a final slot as they seek to defend their title a fourth consecutive time.
Harlequins vs Strathmore
The Quins have been in sleek form this season and will not be leaving anything to chance. This year, they claimed the National 7s Circuit title and have won all their opening Kenya Cup matches. They will be keen to add an Enterprise Cup win to the list of their successes.
Their opponents Strathmore have had a rocky start to the season. Their key players like George Ooro and Nygel Amaitsa were out with Shujaa for the opening legs of the HSBC World Rugby 7s Series and they will be hoping to bring the energy to the club as they seek a maiden 15s win this year.

KCB vs Mwamba
The Bankers have shown great potential this season and they hope to end on a high with a victory over Mwamba RFC. Mwamba have not had the best start to the season, and this match-up offers them an opportunity to right their wrongs.
South Coast Pirates will also welcome Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad in an anticipated mouthwatering clash at the Seacrest Grounds.
Meanwhile, Nakuru RFC will face Catholic Monks, Menengai Oilers lock horns with Daystar, Homeboyz RFC welcome Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby, and Nondies tackle Impala.
The Enterprise Cup is the oldest competition in Kenya. First played in 1930, and donated by sailors from HMS Enterprise who had toured East Africa in 1928.
This tournament is an annual knockout competition and has been played every year with the exception of 1940 -46 due to World War II, 1987 due to the 4th All African Games, and 2020-21 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
