The Bankers remain unbeaten this season while MMUST have lost four games in a row.

KCB RFC reigned supreme over Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) in a Kenya Cup clash on Saturday with flanker Andrew Amonde lauding the varsity side.

The Bankers run away 41-10 winners to extend their winning run in the Kenya Cup that has seen them win all games on the pitch bar the Blak Blad clash that was initially postponed and settled as a draw.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Amonde waxed lyrical about the spirited MMUST side but was confident their systems would carry the day.

“For us, it's to continue working on our systems until we get the breakthrough because we knew MMUST were a very good young side and have worked very hard to be where they are today.

We came out and did our thing we kept on working their systems until things started working out for us,” said Amonde.

Despite a flurry of five tries in the game, MMUST had the never say die attitude and bagged a try deep into injury time through Eric Cantona to put some respect on the scoreline.

Up next for KCB will be a clash against Kenya Harlequin on Saturday 29 January.
