Bidco United boss Anthony Akhulia anticipates a tough outing when his team comes up against Murang'a Seal FC in a league assignment on Sunday.
The match that will be staged at the Kasarani Annex will be the first league encounter between the two sides that hail from the central region. Bidco are based in Thika, while Seal hails from Murang'a.
United are fifth in the table with nine points picked from two wins and three draws, while Seal have surprisingly started the season well since they got promoted and are currently third in the table with 12 points picked from four wins.
On Sunday, the two teams meet in a league clash that both sides will be determined to win, and Akhulia anticipates a tough outing in Kasarani.
"This is like a Derby. It's going to be a very tough game; we expect a complicated game on Sunday, and that means we have to prepare well for the game".
Akhulia lauds Seal for the positive start to the new season.
"They are making a name for themselves in the league. They are demanding and earning respect, and you have to give them credit for that because, for a newly promoted team, I think they've been excellent. The technical bench and the playing unit are doing something good there, and they are clearly no pushovers in this league," he added.
For Akhulia and his charges, however, despite the admission that they'll face a great side, the goal is to get maximum points from the game.
"We want to win. It will not be easy, but we want to get the job done. We will prepare well at the training ground, and it will now be upon the players to implement what we work on in training during the game. If we get our game plan right, then I'm confident that we will get the win. We, however, must ensure we minimize our mistakes," he adds.
