Minnesota Timberwolves star will have to take some anger management classes
Anthony Edwards is the future of the NBA. The Minnesota point guard has already established himself as one of the best players, but he has issue with giving interviews after the game.
He can't stop swearing, which is why the fines keep coming and piling up like he's parking illegally on the streets of Nairobi.
The last penalty came after the Houston Rockets game, where Minnesota made a big comeback. He hit a 3-pointer for the win 30 seconds before the end, so he quoted the famous Gilbert Arenas after the game. Arenas said that he does not play overtime, and that's why he shoots threes. All that was, of course, embellished with a juicy curse, which Edwards repeated.

“What the f*ck did I tell you, old a** n****?”
Then, after Booker drew a foul, you can hear Edwards saying: “You called that weak a** sh*t?” pic.twitter.com/YcnnLArmqE
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver does not tolerate players swearing either before, during, or after the game, so he hit Edwards with another fine of $100,000. In 15 seconds of his post-match statement, Edwards cursed four times, which is why he received such a fine.
He also swore at Kings fans on November 17 and showed them the middle finger, for which he was fined $35,000. He cursed again in the locker room on December 9 and was fined $25,000 before being fined $75,000 on December 23 for criticizing the referees and swearing in the locker room in a postgame interview following the game against the Golden State Warriors.
In total, he paid $235,000 for post-match swearing and middle-finger pointing, all in just one month! That's something he's going to have to deal with.
This season, in 31 games he played, Edwards has recorded 24.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and four assists.
