Award-winning national team setter, Emmaculate Nekesa has joined former Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) women's champions Kenya Pipeline.
The Kwanthanze alumnus has been with league champions Kenya Comercial Bank (KCB) since 2019, joining from high school and helping the side win the African club title in 2022 and the national league in the just-concluded season.

Nekesa joins Pipeline, who parted ways with head coach Paul Gitau last week, ahead of the second leg of the 2023/24 season that will be played this week in Eldoret.
Nekesa will vie for a starting berth with veteran Rose Magoi, youngster Telespory Aluoch , and Faith Imodia, who is away on maternity leave.
"I am happy for this move and looking forward to finding my footing once again," Nekesa who was used sparingly at KCB since Esther Mutinda joined told Daily Nation. "I thank KCB for the chance they gave me to play for them. I wish them well."
Her inclusion is seen as a move by the Oilers to boost their chances of reclaiming the title they won in the 2022 season whose playoffs were held in January 2023.
She brings with her immense experience, despite being just 20, having played for the national team in last year's World Championships, FIVB Challenger Cup, and African Nations Championships this year.
