KCB Voi Rally will be organized by Sigh Union Club on the weekend of August 7th -8th. Voi Wildlife Lodge will house the Rally Headquarters with the rally traffic traversing some iconic routes around Voi region.

It is all systems go for this weekend’s Voi Rally as Africa Rally Championship (ARC) leader Carl ‘Flash’ Tundo headlines the leg of the Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC) that has attracted 23 drivers.

The rally will start and finish at the Voi Wildlife Lodge with crews set to cover Taita (17.39km), Hildana (27.06km), and Maungu (34.50km) stages twice with Izera Ranch, a 5.45km stretch serving as special stage four and later repeated as the Power Stage (SS8). Drivers will cover 84.40km competitive distance and 138.70 transport section.

In the absence of KNRC leader Onkar Rai who has given the Voi leg a wide berth, Tundo, second on the log at 56 points, 17 adrift, will be looking to bridge the gap with a win assuring the Top Fry driver of top position.

Breathing down Tundo’s neck is KNRC defending champion Baldev Charger. The Kabras Sugar Racing duo of Charger and his navigator Ravi Soni will be in Voi in a Mitsubishi Evo 10 chasing down Tundo who is two points ahead of them on the log.

Karan Patel, seventh on the log having finished only one of the three legs of the KNRC held so far, the World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally will be looking to build on that performance for a chance to move up the ladder.

The siblings' crew of Jasmeet and Ravi Chana also have a chance to improve on their placing. Currently, they are fifth, six points behind Tejveer Rai who crushed out of the Safari Rally and is still undergoing treatment in South Africa. The two have been consistent in the last three legs, picking point in each one for 43.
