
Tough tests for Rangers in action packed weekend

The side has played eight matches for five wins and one draw to place eighth on the log.
Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) men's side Rangers HC are the busiest team in the men's league this weekend with three matches in the offing.
Wins in all three will push the Gerald Juma-coached side to eight wins in eleven matches and at 17 points, three behind Black Mamba who are fifth on the log. The side has played eight matches for five wins and one draw to place eighth on the log.
First on Rangers' list is a clash against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) who are also chasing their sixth win in 13 outings. The match set for Saturday 2 October at the Nyayo Handball Court at 10.30 am paves way for another clash later in the day where Rangers play third-place former champions Ulinzi HC.
Rangers will again be in action on Sunday 3 October at 10.30 am against military side Kahawa HC.

Their women's league counterparts, Rangers Women have an equally busy weekend as they take on league leaders and defending champions Nairobi Water Queens and Amazon on Saturday before facing National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, a military derby, on Saturday, will see Embakasi-based Gunners HC take on Thika HC while another military outfit Lanet-based Vickers HC play General Service Unit (GSU).

The league, in its second leg, is set to conclude in November with the top six teams in the men's league playing in the Super Cup while the top four in the women's league battle for the Cup.
