The noble act comes after the 13-year-old once again made headlines as she led her age-group at last weekend's national championships
Kenyan swimming sensation Vahkeinah Leboy has this week seen her imperious performances at the recently concluded Kenya Aquatics National SC Swimming Championships deservedly awarded, as she becomes the latest swimmer to be kitted by Yingfa Swimwear.
The Chinese sports company, in recognition of Leboy’s exploits last weekend, where she excelled by leading her age-group and achieved personal best times and FINA points, took the noble step of providing her with top-of-the-line World Aquatics-approved swimwear to help her impressive cause.
Among the products made available to the Torpedo Swimming Club talent are: kneeskin swimsuits, goggles, swim caps and stretch cords.
Speaking on behalf of the 13-year-old who trains in Eldoret, her father, Hillary Leboy, who is also a Kenya Aquatics stakeholder in Uasin Gishu, said: “Yingfa Swimwear's partnership is invaluable. Huge credit to them for providing affordable, quality gear that is crucial for the training and development of swimmers.”
This is not the first time Leboy has made headlines in the sport, as she timed a personal best 33.25 seconds to win the 12-13 years 50m butterfly event at the second edition of the Kiambu Inter County Clubs Invitational Swimming Championships in November last year.
Hillary, who on top of being the 2nd Vice President of Kenya Aquatics also leads Leboy during training at Testimony School, is committed to leveraging local talent to reach the global stage, with an eye on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

His belief in the potential of his swimmers is rooted in the region’s history of producing world-class runners, which he sees as a blueprint for success in swimming.
As for Yingfa, the company continues to make inroads in the Kenyan Aquatics scene, and was recently chosen to outfit the Rwanda National Swimming Team for the 16th Africa Aquatics Swimming Championship in Luanda, Angola last month.
