Steph defies the laws of physics as GSW stun Rockets away

Curry is simply unbelievable. And seventh-seeded Warriors are a step closer to eliminating the second-seeded side on the West

Last night, Steph Curry decided to test the limits of basketball - and physics. He took shots from "the parking lot" and nailed them. Three-pointers were flying, while the opposing defenders could only raise their eyebrows and wave white flags. When Curry plays, the court somehow expands. It doesn’t matter if he’s behind the three-point line, behind his coach, or even near those ads next to the court - he’ll hit a three-pointer.

That’s how the Golden State Warriors comfortably defeated the Houston Rockets on their home court in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarter-finals, 95-85, as Curry scored 31 points for the defending champions.

Jimmy Butler added 25 points in his Warriors playoff debut, sealing the triumph with an emphatic dunk in the closing minutes.

Earlier, the No. 1 Cleveland Cavaliers surged to a 121-100 win at home over the No. 8 Miami Heat, while Oklahoma City also flexed its muscle, showing why it topped the NBA by dominating the Memphis Grizzlies 131-80. That 51-point victory is the fifth-largest margin in NBA playoff history.
