In the remaining game of last night's NBA schedule, the Clippers destroyed Denver in Los Angeles, taking a 2-1 lead in the series

The NBA playoffs have been going on for some time, and things are starting to heat up. Last night, three games were played, and in two of them, visitors took the whole spoils.

After breaking the Knicks in Madison Square Garden three days ago, the Pistons seemed to have "momentum" on their side. Little Caesars Arena in Detroit saw its first playoff game after six years and it won't be remembered fondly, as the Michigan crew lost to New York 118-116.

Even though the final score doesn't say so, the Knicks controlled the match from the beginning and noted a vital triumph thanks to Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson, who combined for 61 points (31+30). On the other hand, Cade Cunningham and Tim Hardaway Jr. of Detroit scored 24 points each, but it wasn't enough.

In the West, Memphis gambled away a 29-point advantage against Oklahoma and now are on the verge of getting swept! Three minutes before the break, Ja Morant made a fastbreak dunk, giving the Grizzlies what seemed an unattainable lead and got injured in the process.

Once their best player left the court, Memphis' advantage started crumbling, as the Thunder ultimately won the game 114-108, taking a 3-0 lead in the series. Tomorrow (22.30) at the same place, Mark Daigneault's team will have a chance to sweep the Grizzlies and secure the Western Conference semi-finals.

Jaren Jackson Jr. was the most efficient in Memphis' squad with 22 points, while Morant poured on 15 points in as many minutes before the injury. Among the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the best with 31 points.

Finally, although many expected a close game, the Clippers completely destroyed the 2023 NBA Champions, Denver - 117-83.

The Nuggets didn't stand a chance and easily lost the clash despite Nikola Jokic's 31st triple-double of the season (23 points, 13 rebounds and as many assists). On the other hand, four Clippers' starters combined for 80 points, with Kawhi Leonard topping the scoresheet with a double-double - 21 points and 11 rebounds.
