Nairobi City Thunder lands partner ahead of BAL Elite 16 qualifiers

The partnership between M-KOPA and Nairobi City Thunder will run through the duration of the BAL Elite 16 tournament,
Nairobi City Thunder has announced a partnership with leading fintech M-KOPA to support the team during the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Elite 16 Qualifiers, taking place in Nairobi from 28th November to 3rd December 2024.
This sponsorship will provide crucial financial backing for the team as they compete in the Elite 16 tournament, the final qualification stage for African teams vying for a spot in the 2025 Basketball Africa League.
M-KOPA will also supply the team with X20 smartphones, which will help document their journey to the tournament.
The Elite 16 tournament is a key milestone for Nairobi City Thunder, which aims to become the first Kenyan team to compete in the Basketball Africa League. With the support of M-KOPA, the team is poised to make a significant step toward achieving this goal.
