The series win comes after the bankers fell in game one, but found a way to win their last two games
Kenya Commercial Bank Volleyball team -KCB- on Sunday 9 June claimed the Kenya Volleyball National League title for the second year running after upending rivals Kenya Prisons in a Game Three decider staged at the Moi Internationals Sports Centre -Kasarani Indoor Arena in Nairobi.
The bankers, who last year ended their 15-year wait without a national championship with victory over the then defending champions Kenya Pipeline, had to do it the hard way this year, as they emerged from a 0-1 hole after game one to win the last two, including a commanding 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-21) win on Sunday.
KCB successfully defended their title, defeating rivals Kenya Prisons 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-21) in the tiebreaker of the best-of-three series. Congratulations to the Bankers on their impressive victory, and hard luck to the Prisons for their valiant effort. pic.twitter.com/vXYPtJyJCL

However, Esther Mutinda and Belinda Barasa were in top-form on Saturday, as they claimed a 3-0 (28-26, 26-24, 25-21) victory despite playing under immense pressure, to set up the deciding finale on Sunday.
