The top four teams at the conclusion of the regular league book tickets to the KVF playoffs.
As the fight for playoff slots heats up, the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) men's sixth league leg gets underway on 23 to 26 June at Nyayo Stadium.
The four days of action will see the top teams continue fighting for crucial points with leaders Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) coming face to face with defending champions General Service Unit (GSU) on Friday 24 June.
The Dockers lead the standings at 28 points, five more than GSU who have played two matches less. Coach Sammy Mulinge's charges will be hoping to get the better of the Gideon Tarus-led military side as they look to finish the regulars league top of the table.
KPA, who are fighting to clinch the national title after several near misses are banking on their good form, having participated in the Continental championship for the second time last month.
On their part, Tarus' charges will be out to continue their unbeaten run and move closer to yet another unbeaten regular league run.
The paramilitary side begin their weekend action against Administration Police (AP) in Thursday before facing the Dockers on Friday. On Saturday 25 June, GSU have another tough test against league entrants Trailblazers before concluding the weekend against Nairobi Prisons.
Mulinge's charges have a relatively tougher weekend as they play Kenya Forest Service (KFS) who are fourth on the log on the opening day before the GSU clash.
KPA face former champions Prisons Kenya on Saturday in another match that has the ingredients of a thriller before meeting AP on Sunday.

Prisons Kenya will be hoping to put their last match of the fifth leg, a clash against the defending champions that had to be called off due to bad lighting at Nyayo, saving the warders a possible embarrassing 3-0 defeat as they trailed 2-0 on sets.
The David Lung'aho led side face Western Prisons, Equity Bank, KPA and Kenya Army.
