KPA play Uganda's Nemo Stars in the 5th-8th place playoff while GSU take on Cameroon's Port Douala.
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) men's volleyball coach Sammy Mulinge who led his charges to the quarter final on their Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Africa Club championship debut in Tunisia believes the team will break into the top four in their next assignment.
KPA managed to pick a set against title favourites Zamalek in their quarter-final encounter, losing 3-1( 25-13, 22-25, 25-16, 25-13) to be relegated to the fifth to eighth place playoff.
"We came into this championship with a quarter final target and we got that. Paired against probably the toughest team in this championship, five-time African champions, we managed to pick a set from them. I am happy with my players' performance. They played well and enjoyed the game and I think next time we will do better than this. We are really looking forward to the next championship where I am confident we will be fighting for a podium finish. "
