Warriors look to defend theleague title as KPA are chasing the gong they last won in 2018.
Having lost a closely contested Game One of the best-of-five Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) men's final series to Ulinzi Warriors, Sammy Kiki's KPA are looking to level the series in Game Two.
The former champions go to battle at Makande Hall from 4 pm on Sunday 17 April, but without a key player in Frankline Omondi who was ejected in Game One.
An incident involving the centre player and his Warriors counterpart William Ochieng saw the two thrown out and will miss the next two matches.
In Omondi's place will be Nick Ogol who has been nursing an injury picked during the semis against Equity Dumas. He has trained with the dockers for just two days before the series began and was not included in the match-day team sheet for Saturday's game.
"His (Omondi) absence is a blow. It affected our game on Saturday as before his ejection he was playing very well on the paint. Ogol comes in to replace him and although he is not in his best shape, he will be of great help," offered Kiki.
He continued, "Not guarding Victor Bosire well gave him the chance to punish us, scoring a match high 36 points. He is joined by another good point guard in Eric Mutoro for Game Two. We have to limit their scoring chances."
His opposite number William Balozi, has downplayed Ochieng's absence for the next two matches saying that he has an able replacement in the centre position.
The soldiers are boosted by the return of Mutoro after serving his two-match ban while forward Ancet Wafula is also expected to feature after missing out on Game One due to personal commitments.
